It Really isn’t Dull

I recall being informed that Silas Marner (by George Eliot) was being read in a high school class; but it strikes me that you could do worse for yourself in the literary department, than to read Silas Marner.

It is heart-warming, and pleasantly written, though the pace is rather slow.  There is an element of mystery, and there is love, and the tale is resolved in a very appropriate manner.  As I have oft-times stated, I shan’t spoil the story-  but I can tell you that you will be both surprised and pleased with the way it turns out.

It is around one hundred and fifty-odd pages.  Silas Marner is easily found in libraries, and in bookstores, and one can find it for free on the Kindle.

I do hope you enjoy it!
